Playing with my camera.

My cats make really great models. They love to sit in the window. Which is a wonderful source of natural light. We have a porch, so it's always a soft even light. Here are a few of my recently favorite shots of them. Sania (the gray one) needed some convincing. Lea loves to pose for the camera.

 

Fun at the Museum

Me & Liam went to the museum today. We had a blast. We checked out all the exhibits, and played with mommy's camera. Here are a few of my favs.

Another change for my blog. I haven't found anything I keep up with. So here's the new plan. I'll post pictures I like, when I like them. Enjoy!

And I will be posting photos taken with my D200 on this blog too. I've been having so much fun playing in manual modes. My Coolpix has been neglected.

A photo a day, 365 days.

I have decided to try the challenge of taking (and posting) one photo each day. And I thought using my photo blog would be best.

The purpose of this blog.

This blog is for the photos taken with my Nikon Coolpix S570.

I once had a teacher tell me the type of camera you use is not important. The person using it is. A great photographer can get a great photo with a disposable camera. DSLR cameras have become very popular. It seems several people feel they need one to be able to take great shots. I plan on busting that myth.

Here are a few photos to show you just what it can do, on the first day I had it.
